I want to start off this month by saying again, thank-you to a wonderful
church. You have been so supportive of me in each revival meeting of
which I am truly grateful. I want to also thank-you for your faithfulness
to Bro. Ronnie and the Wednesday night services.
May is going to be another exciting month for us at Solid Rock. We
will be having Revival the 4-7. Please make plans now to be there for
each service. Not only will Bro. Ed Strickland be preaching, but he
has offered to show us how we can better fulfill “The Great
Commission” in our area of ministry. I believe he will be a great help
to us, not only through the preaching of God’s Word, but also through
the training. I am looking forward to him and his wife being with us. I
believe this has been orchestrated by God, and that this meeting may
very well be the turning point in the ministry of our church. Please
pray for this man of God and his wife.
Pray that our hearts will be open and receptive to God’s word and to
God’s man. There is no doubt God has placed Solid Rock Baptist
Church exactly where he wanted it to be, may we be sensitive to the
Holy Spirit of God in finding and doing His great will, not only as a
group but individually as well.
When Ruth trusted enough to go to chapter 2 she found a spiritual
Boaz who had a handful on purpose waiting just for her – don’t miss a
night of revival you may miss your handful on purpose!
We want to thank God for all of our mothers. We will be honoring
them Sunday, May 11 in our morning service. Our prayer is that God
will bless each one of you on this special day.
